Bachelor of Religious Education
This multi-major degree program is designed to prepare a student to serve Christ through the church and in other ways, as well as providing the basis for continuing higher education.
Objectives
Upon satisfactory completion the student will:- Demonstrate a passion to love God, people and creation.
- Express a through understanding of the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures.
- Express a Christian worldview.
- Desire to reach, teach and nurture those who do not know Christ.
- Demonstrate growth in disciplines, as a necessary foundation for effective ministry.
- Demonstrate competency in interpreting and communicating the message of the Christian scriptures appropriate to the culture.
- Appraise the principles of "Restoration" in the Stone-Campbell movement.
- Evaluate the functions and principles of Christian formation within and beside the local church.
- Demonstrate the basic skills necessary to effectively equip and encourage people in the local ministry.
Christian Ministries Major
A program designed to prepare an individual for ministry with children, youth or adults in a variety of settings in and beside the local church.

The Bridge Program program is designed for students presently attending university or planning to attend university. Such students may transfer up to 64 credit hours to the B.R.E.—General Studies program.
