Purpose

This Diploma is offered uniquely through the PACE (Professional Adult Career Education) program and is designed to equip learners 25 years old and over with the biblical foundation and leadership skills / resources to live a missional life. The program seeks to prepare people for professional leadership opportunities in the church or community and to prepare students for the possibility of advanced studies.

Objective

Adults completing the PACE Program in Leadership & Ministry will:

1. Articulate their goals and mission for life derived from an explored faith in God and demonstrate the skills to accomplish these.
2. Express a Christian worldview.
3. Integrate biblical, theological and historical truths into their practice of leadership.
4. Apply the character, values and compassion necessary for Christian leadership to varied situations.
5. Practice missional living in all of life, including a practicum in one specific area.

Degree Requirements

To graduate with a Diploma in Leadership & Ministry, you must complete the following requirements:

1. Complete 48 semester hours in the PACE Program in Leadership & Ministry with a grade of “C” or better in each course.
2. Complete both the Leadership Research Project and Leadership Practicum.
3. Fulfill all financial obligations to the College.
