PACE Program Requirements

Diploma Programs

The Diploma Program is ideal for students with an inadequate number of transfer credits to enroll in the degree program. Diploma students, whether it be in the Leadership, Counselling, Biblical Studies, or Non-Profit Leadership programs, will benefit significantly from their growth in practical skills and biblical knowledge.The courses are the same for both programs.

Requirements for admission into the Diploma of Christian Ministry are:

  1. Possess a Grade 12 diploma, its recognized equivalent, or consent of the Admissions Committee.
  2. Twenty-five (25) years of age.
  3. Applicants without college experience will be required to:
    1. Demonstrate college level English and writing ability.
    2. Maintain a 2.00 G.P.A. for the first two courses.
  4. Students must provide proof of English language competency equal to or exceeding Canadian Language Benchmark 8 or a score of at least 90 (internet based test iBT) on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 60% Alberta English 30, or its equivalent.

Bachelor of Christian Ministry

The requirements for admission into the Bachelor of Christian Ministry include:

  1. Twenty-five (25) years of age.
  2. Sixty (60) credit hours from a recognized institution(s), with a grade of “C” or better (Grade Point Average of 2.0 or better on 4.0 scale).
  3. Students must provide proof of English language competency equal to or exceeding Canadian Language Benchmark 8 or a score of at least 90 (internet based test iBT) on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 60% Alberta English 30, or its equivalent.

Individual Courses

Most of the PACE courses may be taken individually as well.

Provisional Acceptance

If a prospective applicant does not meet all requirements, his / her application may be considered individually by the PACE Admissions Review Committee. An acceptable substitution to one or more of these criteria may be allowed. At the time of acceptance, applicants will be informed of any deficiency in course work or other requirements not met, and a program to fulfill these requirements will be mutually agreed upon.
